Fr the mc is such a nice guy
He's a bit weird at times (not in a really bad way)
but he literally takes everyone's sh, ignores it and helps them the best he can despite everything else
Ah, but the whole who dumped who thing
TT
as a romance fan i want it to be cleared up >~<
they probably gonna make her meet someone else, its gonna go well and get serious after some time.. and before her wedding, they are gonna have a talk over drinks about the old times, some feelings are gonna well up and then she gonna ask him if he would have dumped her if he knew she'd be a banger in a white dress .. then comes the back and forth about who dumped who and an awful, awful long awkward pause, followed by a single tear down her cheek..then she stands up, muffling a sob, asking why he waited so long, baka-nagomu .. and runs away towards the light in the door.. never to be seen again. he's gonna write an awesome song about it, but his chestnut hat is gonna take all seriousness out of it.
Yeah, i want them to clear thing up before she lost her feeling for him.
Mhm
And then seeing them all act like a small family <3
The girl thought she was dumped by nagomu Just because nagomu was going back to Kyoto to go to his dad that was hospitalized and kanoko was like angry and stuff and they broke up
Yeah but in flashback she also said something like i don't like Japanese sweet. I don't know what's up with that.
There isn't anything to it, he wanted to go back, she wasn't interested or atleast didn't even consider it seriously at the time and went out for the day to take care of things. Whether that day or some time later he just left without saying anything. She never broke up with him.
From the looks of it (if I remember the episode correctly)
He wanted to go back
She somehow mistook that for him breaking up/leaving her
Because she cut him off before he properly asked her to come with him
So she thinks he broke up with her because he wanted to move
And he thinks she broke up with him because she didn't want to move
wdym there isnt anything to it? they both misunderstood each other. so of course there is something to it. they still have concern for each other, they deserve a second chance.
Watching it back, yeah he took it as her dumping him even though it wouldn't make much sense (very in character for him), I misunderstood it
but srsly tho, one thing we love abt them is how they interact with each other despite being under the impression that "we broke up" coz the other "dumped me". All the more reason why we stan this couple

Like obv the mc is a nice guy
but the girl not taking it badly is nice too
no childish sh
Most based comment, the MC is so wholesome that he takes everything in stride without getting embarrassed, angry, or emotional.
I agree with you. People like nagomu is the best he always smile and always gives a good vibes to everyone and even though they mostly joke about him like nagomu as the old man in the picture with Itsuka is so funny and nagomu is so wholesome
yep, though people like that can be really scary when they finally snap, like Rimuru from Reincarnated as a Slime or Hayate from Hayate no Gotoku. (The previous Sanzen-in temple made me remember Hayate no Gotoku too)
Yeah it actually there parents fault. When he over hear them. Suggesting that he should do something else and that what he did. Now he getting blame for what he did. Lol
This is a great observation. 👍
The father of Itsuka is the senpai of nagomu woah and is in that swimming pool and didn't even came back to his daughter that guy is so not cool for leaving his daughter and he's voice sounds so familiar
Sounds like the voice actor of Kirito
Those two cats is sleeping in the street
I don't think they know he overheard them, so to them it's just him being too free-spirited. Also, they may have said that as a worry, but still wanting him to take it over. Nagomu is also purposefully taking on the role of the bad kid, so that they don't think his choice is "their fault".
Not saying they shouldn't treat him better, but they aren't entirely to blame either.
I'm not as nice of a person as he is; if my family treated me the way his family treats him, I'd walk out and not look back.
Personally, I dont think his family treats him badly tho, they don't think he's suitable to be in the job, because he feels too much empathy for the wagashi, how can he sell them if he's going to cry everytime XD
too little or too much passion for something can both be as bad after all.
on the other hand, it's because they actually cares, that they will feel like that. It's quite a warm and lively family. Better than some families in RL and other animes, where the parents literally don't give a shit what the child likes or dislikes, or whether they will be suitable or not suitable for something.
I actually like how nagomu is like that he's just being true to himself and he's not hurting anyone he's just asking small questions
I know! These people don't deserve him, especially that shit ex pof his!
Nagomu is so funny and really good to watch I really love the good vibes nagomu gives he always smiles and even though itsuka, saki and his ex gf is swimming together nagomu just sit there smile and when they come back he's still happy
He is too kind to deserve such treatment
I dont think they are really treating him like shit, it's like his the comedy relief/clown character in the group. It's because they are close enough that they can tease each other like that...
lol. I don't think it's as serious as you made it sound. To me, it seems like they're just teasing him for what he did instead of being too serious about the past. You can see from how he reacted to their treatment. He's cool with it. There are families like that. Instead of dealing with it seriously, you make a few jokes and teasing here and there. It takes away the awkwardness of the past.
People should really just go with the flow instead of over analyzing everything this early in the series. Bet there are serious stuff later in the show/manga but right now, let's just enjoy it.
yep, it's better than it boiling away inside them and overflowing as twisted emotions later on, or being bitter/lashing out at ppl and making everything awkward for everyone...
Nagomu crossdressing 10/10 lol
Best gal for sure lol
Saki just wanted to be in a place where he felt light so he found cross dressing and it made him feel good so.... He's gqe! Or probably not, he's a dude
I laughed at that scene and I did not expected that saki was the girl in his lock screen wallpaper I thought it was his gf or an idol he loves that caught me off guard and when nagomu found out saki was cross dressing in that street was shocking
Why do these people treating Nagomu harshly, like he has done something terrible before. My man got feelings too you know.
I know what you mean. But they're not bad people. It mostly has to do with their everyday interaction with Nagomu. Familiarity does wonders when you know someone very well although it's also true it can get overboard.
I think his parents is still mad at nagomu for leaving the family manju business and pursuing his dream
that's love.
That cannot be love! No love is supposed to be harsh or disrespectful! I suggest you all brush up on what REAL love is supposed to look like!
so you know what real love is :D
Yes! The kind of love where you are nice to the person, no matter what and they are nice to you in return - a sense of mutual respect is formed from that niceness and combined with some sexual tension + flirting, you get LOVE!
Precious child , i wish you best journey to find such love.
You are still young, you have all your life ahead of you ;)
Uhm, I am 27 so please don't call me child. Its just that I have high demands from those that wish to be around me and am extremely selective when it comes to loved ones. However, I believe that a boundary of respect I hold is the strictest in the world - if you cannot be nice to me all the time, you don't deserve me being nice to you and that's a final word for me.
Have you look at what you post? That word fits you
What I post is the Truth. If you cannot agree to it or at least pretend to like all adults do in society, then you are the child.
If you want everyone to accomodate to you and your feelings, then THAT makes you the child. There's lots of type of love in the world, and they can take alot of forms and ways to express it. There's people who can easily express their love, and those who finds it hard to express their love. There's no real one way to show love...
What's important is being able to see through their outer appearance and behaviour to understand the reasoning behind their actions and words. Eg, some types of people can seem harsh in their actions and words, but its only because they are not good at expressing their emotions/because they have their own reasons for not showing it, but in truth they did everything with good intentions. (If Nagomu's parents truly held it against him for running away, they wouldn't have allowed him to continue in the house and shop in the first place.)
There are circumstances that everyone has on the views of love, but commonly there is love without sexual desire. Your views are that of the common in so through so please refrain from thinking your opinions are the right one and are the absolute truth as everyone would not agree.
Well I believe mine are the truth, just like you believe yours are so...
I really appreciate the way they handled Saki's cross-dressing.
I don't appreciate the way Nagomu keeps getting shit from everyone despite trying his hardest and always being there for people. The man's got his quirks, but he's the most sincere, caring person and does not deserve to be treated like shit.
